AMAC Chief Issues Call for Solidarity as a Nation

nation solidarity rally America‘Hate is not a political strategy’

“Hate is not a political strategy,” says Dan Weber, president of the Association of Mature American Citizens.  “We need a time out from the political vitriol that has been dividing our nation since President Donald Trump was elected last November.  There have been just too many incidents of violent political discord—enough to threaten the future of the country.”

The founder of the nation’s largest Conservative senior advocacy organization said in a statement issued today, “every American, right or left, has a right to voice an opinion, but we don’t have a right to incite riot and inflict bodily harm for the sake of a political viewpoint.  The hatred directed against the president has reached a boiling point.  It has been palpable and has led to violent protests and mayhem throughout the country.  The lone gunman who went hunting for Republican lawmakers last week in Alexandria, VA is a worrisome example of what can happen.”

The shooter wounded four individuals who were practicing for a charity baseball game.  He left House Majority Whip Steve Scalise [R-LA] in critical condition.  The shooter had a history of anti-Republican and anti-Trump social media posts, including one in which he wrote: “Trump is a Traitor.  Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy.  It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.”

The incident showed how out-of-hand things have gotten, so much so that the Justice Department says it would take special measures to address “ideologically motivated” crimes of violence by radical groups and individuals.

Weber called for “solidarity as a nation lest we destroy the future for our children and grandchildren.  We should express political disagreement when it is warranted, but let’s keep it civil.  We need to lower the volume and tone down the rhetoric.  And, it is incumbent on our political leaders and the media to help us to do that.  Things won’t get better until all of the people, those who voted for the president and those who didn’t, accept the fact that Donald Trump is the duly elected president of the United States.  We need to give him an opportunity to do the job for which he was elected.”

The AMAC chief pointed out that the administration and Congress have important work to do in order to fix the economy and a broken health care system.  “These should be our top priorities, not political ideology.

This didn’t start with Trump’s election. The left and its media managers have been working toward this for decades. Obama made public rioting OK when he refused to decry Ferguson, MO and other community agitator sponsored disturbances. It is time for the media to start acting like the journalists they claim to be and stop inciting vitriol and mayhem with their vicious and destructive attacks on anyone not in their ideological camp.

how does an article that calls for solidarity and unity result in comments that attack democrats? i don’t get it – both sides or all sides need to start thinking as if we are all a part of one human race and get things done. not all democrats, republicans or independents share 100% of the views of their associated party.

Evil people who are determined to have control never accept that they have lost. Just like Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and Hitler, they simply will not quit. That is why we had to go to war with Germany and Japan. They wanted CONTROL so much that they simply would not quit.

Without lies and hate, the Left has nothing to run on. Their ideas and policies are bankrupt and are destroying this country. Good people need to open their eyes…

Mr Weber has fine sounding words. Like one would hear from someone running for office. Sadly, our country is about half populated by a mixture of government dependents, mis-educated youngsters, socialists, anarchists, atheists and some who have lost their ability to use logic and common sense.
God help us.

It is not good when anyone, whether they say they are joking or not, expresses the desire to see harm come to another. It is much worse when it comes from someone in the public eye, whether a politician, media member or entertainer. Such people need to experience repercussions from the authorities consistent with the size of their sphere of influence.
We the people can exercise our freedoms by contacting the employers and sponsors of such characters as Johnny “Dip.”

Unfortunately, “we” cannot all just get along. The party that ran two Communists in primary elections and ran one in the election that counted for real, is not going to stop trying to obtain its nefarious goals. Communism equals dictatorship and I am surprised to find that to be apparently okay with AMAXC. If that is AMAC’s kumbaya position, please cancel and refund my remaining subscription.

I agree with you, Mr. Weber We must stand tall and not give in to hate, injustice and persecution

Given the alarming direction the Progressive liberals are taking this country, perhaps we conservatives ought to re-think our approach to the situation. Perhaps we should consider another Declaration of Independence similar to that of Will Edwinson’s compelling novel, SHADOW REVOLUTION. It’s a story about a shadow revolution taking place right under the noses of the liberal politicians and all liberals in general. It begins with an underground newspaper urging all like-minded people who believe in limited government, to migrate to eighteen Western states; get involved in politics to gain control of the respective legislatures of those states; and then vote in one large block to secede from the Union of The United Sates of America to form the new “Free States of North America.” Of course the old United States isn’t about let these folks get away with seceding, and they declare war on the new Free States, but after doing so, they soon experience a huge surprise.

It’s a fascinating and fast read where freedom loving people finally get fed up with their oppressive government. There is mix of several subplots involving a wee bit of science fiction, a little romance, and much political intrigue.to add interest. It’s available at amazon.com for all five e-reader devices and is also available in print format as well. Will also has some interesting blog posts on his website concerning this country’s present plight. You can find his website at http://www.willedwinson.com. Enjoy.

Two things to say, We a nation must repent and return to The God of the Bible. Until then we have no
future. We the people must demand term limits state and federal level. NOW.

The only issue I take is that the right has NOT created, fomented or generated ANY of the hateful incidents or rhetoric. These are the sum and substance of the left, bought and paid for by the likes of Organizing for Obama and George Soros. If there is to be any solidarity, it needs to be in achieving the goal of destroying the left in this country. If that means fighting fire with fire, then so be it. This is the battle of the century, for the life and soul of this country. And we need to accept the fact that politicians of ANY stripe will NOT do the job for us.

I agree. The hate and the violence that emerges from it has to stop ! The leaders who are funding these actions must be brought down and brought to justice. I don’t see any other solution. During the Cold War , we heard the words, “United we stand, divided we fall “. What concerns me the most is that a large amount of the citizenry in our country believe in all this progressive / socialist/ communist propaganda. We hear it from the news media, from community organizations and social media. My greatest worry is this could erupt into a full blown civil war. If that occurred the USA would be ripe for picking and the wolves are waiting just outside the door.

I want Nancy Pelosi to step down from her position as the House Majority Leader. She is not Leading the country with an objective, healthy, positive view that benefits, We The People!

Her primary concern is leading the young people of America into brainwashing their minds to be Violent, to Hate, and to Kill and Murder people in cold blood (so to speak).

With the terminology she uses she is actually speaking death over people. It’s as if she is into Witchcraft, Weegee Board, and Satanism. And actually worships Satan.

Politicians like her, whether left or right are sore losers because they are spoiled brats. When self centered spoiled brats want what they want, they do not care about who gets hurt in the process, as long as they get what they want. Sometimes everything you get in life is not good for you…AMEN to that…GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

This division began long before President Trump was elected. It has been festering ever since the Progressive movement began in 1916, and has continued by efforts of the likes of the late Saul Alinski and his minions. The decision, now, is, will we remain a Free-State nation, or become a Nanny State nation. The trend seems to be drifting at alarming speed toward a Nanny State, and I think that is something that even the nanny state proponents will find they don’t like after it occurs.

The central factor in this is the sad truth that we are dealing with a well-orchestrated domestic insurrection largely supported by ideological leftists with more money than common sense. It is illuminating that only the Left has resorted to criminal violence. There are no reported incidents of conservatives “hunting” Democrats, giving the lie to the Bloomberg crowd and their absurd claims that guns in private hands lead to more crime. Conservatives express their dissent in the manner prescribed by the Founders- by “peaceably assembl(ing) to petition the government for redress of grievances”. I will admit the existence of “fringe” elements who abuse their 1st Amendment rights to spew hatred, but even these yahoos don’t routinely progress to rioting, arson, or physical attacks. I believe the Justice Department is right in calling for special measures to deal with the kind of violent, self-professed revolutionaries who commit these horrific crimes. We have not faced a situation like this since the “bad old days” of the Communist International in the 1920’s, when the new-born Soviet Union was aggressively promoting domestic insurrection in Europe and the US. Even after the demise of the Soviet Union, there still are ideological Communists, many of them with access to obscene amount of cash, funding revolutionary violence in this nation.

Now why would a conservative organization wish for the demise of the one person who is nearly single handedly responsible for the crashing descent of the blue party?

This division of America started in earnest with Barack Hussein Obama and his racist administration. From the time he was elected until he left the White House he and his cronies created and fostered too many intentional divisional statements and policy’s to count. That, my friends was part of his strategy unfortunately. And it worked rather well, as we all can see today. Just this week the city of Ferguson shockingly paid the parents of the thug, Michael Brown, who Obama and his then DOJ defended, a settlement for his death. This after the police officer was found to be in the right about his decision to shoot this criminal that was attempting to seize his weapon from him after continued requests by that officer to stop assaulting him. The officer did exactly what he and other officers are all trained to do. And so to insinuate that divisive activity in America is a result, and, began with the election of Trump is a misnomer indeed.

Unfortunately, hate is a political strategy and a very successful one at that.

George W. Bush felt the hate (some people said that he knew about 9/11 in advance); so did Obama (some people said that he was born in another country) and now Trump. Hate sells and it’s not going away anytime soon.

Hate is not a political strategy if one is conservative. However, the left uses hate all the time.
