So it was with this nation’s 30th president, Calvin Coolidge.

Wonderful article about Calvin Coolidge! The more I learn about him, the better I like him. Here’s a favorite quote I found from a speech Calvin Coolidge made at William and Mary College in 1926.
“Unless bureaucracy is constantly resisted it breaks down representative government and overwhelms democracy. It is the one element in our institutions that sets up the pretense of having authority over everybody and being responsible to nobody.”
