Democrat Governors in Trouble

governorsHow the world turns! Four years of unjust accusations hurled at President Trump, who just survived a second impeachment, and now Democrat Governors are in unprecedented trouble.

New York’s Governor Cuomo may be impeached for lying about pushing 9,000 COVID patients into nursing homes – killing innumerable others.  California’s well-coifed Governor Newsom faces a likely recall.  Others reel from popular disgust over endless lockdowns, lost rights.

While talk of accountability is encouraging, bringing unruly leaders to heel is often complex, time consuming, and fraught with obstacles.  Still courageous Americans are motivated to recapturing their rights, lives, and livelihoods. They know who took them, and it was not Trump.

In New York, impeachment can only be achieved by arduous effort.  Still, it has been done – and the threat has produced a resignation.  To get there, articles must be voted from the Assembly (lower chamber), a trial in the Senate then produce a two-thirds vote for conviction.  State law mirrors federal, and the New York legislature is Democrat controlled.

That said, public anger is running high, nursing home deaths hit Democrats as hard as republicans, and Cuomo is dodging reporters and responsibility, which amplifies public disaffection.  See, e.g., https://www.wivb.com/news/new-york/new-york-republicans-say-cuomo-is-unfit-call-for-impeachment/; https://www.troyrecord.com/news/national/report-cuomo-aide-admits-that-new-york-concealed-nursing-home-data-to-avoid-federal-probe/article_1d51c819-9334-5488-a2b6-f74e965273d7.html;

Moreover, what constitutes an “impeachable offense” is vague, and it has been done. In 1913, New York Governor William Sulzer was impeached.  Similarly, in 2008, Governor Elliot Spitzer resigned as impeachment articles were being drawn up.

In recent days, based on revelations about Cuomo’s decision to place thousands of COVID patients in (obviously) vulnerable nursing home populations, which triggered a cascade of foreseeable deaths – and then apparently covered up the fact – impeachment is being seriously discussed.

Could it happen?  With a year left in his term, maybe – but the bigger issue is growing public concern about this Democrat governor’s way of governing, which is reflective of how many other Democrat governors are governing.

The notion of elites stripping regular people of public health and safety rights, constitutional prerogatives, and their essential livelihoods, never mind public schools for their kids, protection from mobs, the right to worship, and basic respect – is getting to people.

The resentment of Democrat governors’ heavy-handedness – and elites in power generally – is not limited to New York.  Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich recently wrote on the topic, noting a Rasmussen poll found 72 percent of Americans say “”political elites believe they are superior to everyday Americans,” and only 11 percent disagreed.

Moreover, 78 percent of men and 68 percent of women believe elites hold themselves above the rest of us, including a surprising 77 percent of suburban voters.  Newt is right, Americans are sick of being dictated to by hypocrites.  See, https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/newt-gingrich-joe-biden-trumpism-asset-elites.

California’s Governor Newsom is feeling similar heat – maybe hotter.  In California, recalls are laborious, time consuming, and create a fight.  That said, momentum is building across party lines for Newsom’s ouster.  His arrogance is grating, the effort accelerating.

Historically, California is no stranger to recalls.  178 attempts have been made since 1913, 55 to unseat governors, and the last successful in 2003 – sending Gray Davis packing, bring aboard Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger.

To date, the petition – saying Newsom “continues to destroy the lives and businesses of hardworking Californians” and asks help “to stop this tyrant before it is too late” – is on a roll.  It has more than 1.4 million signatures, has built a pool of 80,000 volunteers, may well succeed.  Desperate to stop it, the Biden White House is now actively opposing the effort, putting them in the odd position of favoring clampdowns disdained by most Californians.  See, e.g., https://recallgavin2020.com/; https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/biden-opposes-effort-to-recall-californias-newsom-white-house/ar-BB1dxwXy?ocid=uxbndlbing.

These Democrat governors are not alone.  Across the country, Democrat governors face an upswell of discontent.  The discontent is manifesting itself in pressure for impeachments, recalls, and censure.  Kentucky’s Democrat Governor Beshear is now on the rails, among others. See, e.g.,  https://www.dailysignal.com/2021/02/04/this-governor-faces-impeachment-over-covid-19-mandates/.  Democrat Chief Executives from Arizona, Michigan, Washington and elsewhere are getting enormous blowback. See, e.g., https://www.libertynation.com/governors-in-trouble-covid-19-inspires-recall-efforts/.

All this amounts to a major crosscurrent, a new development on the political scene – and perhaps a powerful roar-back against perpetual state economic lockdowns, infringement of fundamental rights, and even the hasty, untoward second impeachment of former President Trump.  How the world turns!  Even before 2022, Americans are flexing their political muscle.  Wait until 2022.

It’s almost time to vote out these crazed democrats out of office! Joe Manchin is the only decent one in the lot of them! As long as he votes against the filibuster! If not, vote his ass out!

We can only hope and pray that many (or all) of these corrupt governors are voted out ASAP. Otherwise, nothing changes.

“In trouble” is exactly where leftist Democrat governors belong! Among them is the power-drunken harpie we have as governor here in Michigan.

God is ultimately in control. It’s sad to say but this nation, I believe has run it’s course. The LORD prepares to bring the tribulation and as the Abraham accords have set the stage for Ezekiel 38-39, America must become inconsequential in world events. God used Trump to set the stage and now uses Biden to bring down America as must happen. The tribulation is the only path to the Kingdom of God and mankind’s great hope in Christ. Watch the sky. I plan to view the tribulation from the mezzanine. God bless.

I’m only gonna support the local Republican party and when I get a request for money from the National Republican party I write on the donation form “No money until Mitch McConnell is no longer in power”, not sure how far that goes but if enough of us started letting the National Republican party understand that RINO’s like McConnell are not representing us or our vote. Will a change occur. I’m a card carrying republican who dispise back stabbing RINOs like McConnell and Romney ect…

Everyone is being way too polite and overly politically correct by denoting these miscreants as Democratic Governors. The correct label for these pond scums is Demsheviks, which simply is the merging of the words “Democratic” (so called since the term has been hijacked from the American people and given a meaning that is anything BUT democratic) and “Bolsheviks” (AKA the Russian Social Democratic Party that was renamed the Communist Party in late 1917).

In today’s political environment, the vast majority of the Democratic Party are all simply Demsheviks. Everything these people are trying to do is anathema to what America stands for and what our Founding Fathers intended. The saddest part of this whole equation is that these people actually believe in what they are trying to do, and unfortunately are supported by voters who embrace and submit to these politicians’ pandering to their myriad groundless fears, primal paranoia and incited hysteria.

Democrat leaders in general, alone with the RINO republicans, should be held accountable for their treasonous actions. Only real problem is finding enough rope to finish them off!

What enrages me the most is the arrogance these leftist elitist A-holes. They are giddy, and In-Your-Face, laughing at the Repubs as they clutch their pearls and wring their hands doing nothing! This is war being waged by the Demonrats against you & I. Demented “uncle Joe’s” handlers have a plan for us, and it’s more radical than you imagine. Like the old saying about slowly boiling a frog so he doesn’t notice…

What scares me is not just the control they have wrenched out of this last election (yes, I believe it was stolen) but that so many of my fellow citizens are happy to be led to the slaughter. I meet them every day at work and as I shop. I have written to more people in government this past election than ever before. When I get a response from my Democrat legislators they don’t thank me for contacting them, they tell me where I am wrong, if they even respond to the issue I mentioned.

Unfortunately politicians in Washington have forgotten that the U.S. is a Representative Republic–too many elected politicians think they can vote anyway they want regardless of what the constituents who pay their salaries want or believe.

Yes, the proof is actually all there. Two hours worth. The proof by the way that the media says does not exist. If Lindell can take his lawsuit to court, he can win. IF the courts decide to hear him.

Yeah, when you get a response (probably by the aid to the politician) it’s usually the same old tired form letter telling you why they do what they do. Probably a waste of time to write them but at least it takes time from their “very busy schedule” to initiate a response.

Sorry AMAC members, but American voters are VERY stupid. Trump should have STILL won by a landslide even with the CHEATING by the communists. Gas prices are going up and it’ll hit $5 a gal by years end. No longer energy ind. Silver prices have better than doubled. A total financial collapse wil happen before the next election in 2024. AND, the GOP will never take the WH again thanks to mail in voting, no voter ID, and general voter fraud. Here comes MS-13 and anti-fuh to your door. Un-armed ? Say good bye.

WIth the cheating, almost 1,000,000 fake votes (and switched votes) to the bidet helped him win PAs electoral votes. Without the FAKE and switched votes, President Trump actually WON PA. Sorry, to burst your bubble, but President Trump DID win by a landslide. The machines and illegal ballots and demonrat counters got the bidet the election.

What about New Jersey? Murphy is still putting Covid19 patients in nursing homes. Some nursing homes get $1500.00 per patient in their nursing homes. I know it’s true. Governor Murphy should be investigated, too.

I believe that Will Rogers summed it up for us…
“You can fool some of the people all of the time… and all of the people some of the time…AND when you do, it usually lasts for four years.
He also said, ” I don’t belong to any organized political party… I’m a registered Democrat.”
Too bad that today’s registered DemonRATS are organized anarchists, socialists, and/or self-serving morons and/or tyrants.

Gee, is anyone surprised? If you don’t thoughtfully think thru what your doing, what do you expect? We ain’t China yet, I hope (still can’t speak gook that good anymore). Suggest people realize that Communision (yep, can’t spell still, wonder why I can speak gook). All they do is erase your freedoms (gee look around). Time for America to stand up to the Democratic bullies/privilaged (which Repulicians are also guilty). Politicians were never meant to be wealthy, look at the Founding Fathers. Now both sides prefer to be at odds with each other to make more money, they may recite the Pledge of Allegligence, they may take a oath, they’re not there to uphol whats right, they are only there to uphold their reasons to get richer.
Look at it this way, I’m a idiot, I admit it, if I did one tour in Congress, I get a retirement for life with all sorts of perks. Sad, I did 20 in the military, do have a retirement, cannot compare with a 2 year career in Congress. I am still poor, don’t really have nothing other than the hurt of trying to do what was right by the government. Still have 2 places I picked out when I can’t survive in this enviroment anymore. I’m cool, will have water, shelter (kind of) and have to hunt for food, but I’m getting too old. In my younger days, would have been no problem. Now? Yes, I have to beg off the US, it sucks.

Thank you for your 20 years service – time you took out of your life to protect this country. I agree, we must all stand up for the country we are supposed to be. Masks? I don’t wear one unless it’s for the sake of the owner of the small business (and most of them don’t care if I wear one anyway). All the COVID situation has become is an excuse to imprison all of us.

When Trump was elected POTUS, all but one member of Congress were millionaires, the lone exception was Bernie Sanders and he soon became a millionaire too. They frequently go into office as middle class and soon become very wealthy as a result of public office and certainly are paid handsomely by organizations for their connections when they leave office.. When Martha Stewart was sent to prison along with the physician who gave her the inside information, members of Congress were benefiting from insider trading–and it was legal for them to do so. It is past time to demand that any laws pertaining to the rest of the population apply to the legislators also and prohibit politicians from being able to exempt themselves from what they require the rest of us do or to be able to hide the sweetheart deals they make for themselves by having policies which apply to themselves be automatic—e.g. annual Congressional pay raises were made automatic so that taxpayers would not know they were getting raises when the rest of the population had not had a raise in several years—and they get these annual raises whether they have accomplished anything of any merit or not.

It’s great that many bad democrat governors may be on the chopping block. It would be wonderful to see them go. But why all the hullabaloo over the 2022 election being the hope for the future? The 2020 election was a disaster and dishonest as hell but no one, federal judges, supreme court and congress followed the constitutional way of dealing with this properly. Every one that could help it to be honest did nothing. So why would the 2022 election be more honest? Really?!!!! If you think the elites will ever allow a free and honest election again, think again.

Rich

We must turn things around in 22. And, the election should be watched through a microscope! We the people must DEMAND fair elections from the politicians and the news media. If this doesn’t work then yes, we are doomed.
