Dinesh D’Souza’s America: The Restoration of America Begins July 2nd

Two years ago, Dinesh D’Souza and Gerald Molen shocked Hollywood and the mainstream media when they brought 2016: Obama’s America to theaters. However, they quickly realized that they needed to do more than explore the motivations behind President Obama’s domestic and foreign policy—they needed to directly combat the destructive progressive narrative that sees America as a force for evil in the world.

So they set out to make a new film, America, which seeks to reinforce the importance of American ideals, argue that America is a force for good in the world, and defy the politicians, filmmakers, and academics who see America as an evil imperialist power. “I made this film because I wanted to help my daughter undo four years of liberal university professors,” D’Souza said. “It is time that conservatives sent a message to Hollywood and liberal academia: we will not allow our country to be portrayed as a new ‘Evil Empire.’”

America has a real chance to help shape the future of our nation, but it needs your help to succeed! Now it is time for people all over the country to hear a different narrative about America: the story of American justice and freedom. “I encourage everyone to take their children and grandchildren to see this film,” producer Gerald Molen said. “People need to be reminded that America is the world’s brightest hope for the future.”

This nation stands at a crossroads: will we accept the narrative of American theft and exploitation, dooming our country to slip into decline and obscurity, or will we allow America to remain great, with the strength and courage to meet new challenges in the days ahead? As citizens who love our country because it is worth loving, we must make our voice heard.

America releases in theaters on July 2nd! Go see it on opening weekend, and visit the website at www.americathemovie.com to watch the trailer and find more information about the film. And, most importantly, please help spread the word about America! We need our voice to be heard in theaters across the nation in order to make a difference.

My opinion is this, Lets stop, just talking! We need to take a stand to let our congressmen know everyday what we want. We need to let them know that this is not only in God’s hands, it is our responsibility to stand up and be counted. We have not been fighting all these years for our rights to be destroyed by one administration. We must vote, all of us, and we must know what we are voting for, and what the candidates stand for. You have to read, watch the news, and learn as much as you can when putting our lives on the line. We are not doing this to be forced to live in an autocracy, which is just what this administration is trying to put in place. Democracy must rule; as it always has. I would like us to make sure that the politicians have the same benefits that we have and we need to revise how they are compensated when they retire. Most people these days are expected to use 401k’s for retirement, when does a 2 year, 4 year, stint in congress make a person eligible for retirement compensation for the rest of their lives. Wake-up, none of this is fair to the normal american, nor, is it fair that we treat our illigel aliens better that we treat our own people who need our help. If we can take care of them, we can definitely take care of our homeless, our disabled, and our veterans. Come on, this is not rocket science. Just get off your keisters and do something. Support something, even if it is wrong, at least you will be trying.

Well now the “Big Man” says he’ll take care of immigration reform ON HIS OWN – with Executive Action. I am so thoroughly sick of this man I could puke!! Can’t believe no one has tried to assassinate the man – honestly!!! With all the wrongs he’s dumped on this country the last thing we need are open borders!!!!! I used to wonder, but now am convinced he’s an Islamic “plant” groomed years ago for all of this to allow the infiltration of Islam into the U.S. Somebody, somehow has GOT TO STOP OBAMA!!!!!!

We need to start with eliminating the apathy that has devoured our nation. When the minority can overrule the majority, whether it be liberal judges to voters staying home, it’s become a festering sore. We need judge’s who make their decisions based on the constitution not on their opinion. We need people who are willing get out and work to elect politicians who are for the people, not their ego. Too often it’s just easier to walk away from from a problem than face it head on. Let’s all get off our duff’s and fight to get our country back.

SO, OKAY, DOES EVERYONE HAVE THEIR AMERICAN FLAG ON DISPLAY FOR THE 4TH OF JULY WEEK? FLYING FROM A FLAG POLE OR HANGING ON THE FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE OR FROM YOUR BALCONY?

WE’LL BE AWAY FOR THE 4TH WEEK SO HAVE INSTALLED LIGHTING TO ILLUMINATE THE FLAG AT NIGHT – WHICH IS, BY LAW, REQUIRED.

WHATEVER PARKING LOT I HAPPEN TO BE IN – I WALK PAST HUNDREDS OF CARS, AND I’VE BEEN PAYING ATTENTION IN RECENT MONTHS SINCE MY CAR IS THE ONLY ONE WITH A ‘WOUNDED WARRIOR’ LICENSE PLATE HOLDER (THEY SENT IT TO ME) AND AN NRA STICKER.

The only way to stop this disaster is to VOTE in every election to rid our nation of socialists and progressives. They are in both parties, and many are showing a phony face to the public. Do not be fooled by these people. Once our constitution is gone, there is no turning back. Already many politicians are ignoring it. It may already be too late unless we take decisive action. When I write my representatives in DC I close every letter with the following:

a. If the congress cannot produce a budget (I believe it should be balanced) by 1 OCT of each year, all congressional (House of Representatives, and the Senate) pay stops, and all incumbents cannot be reelected. Budget is the primary job of The Congress! You all need to understand that!

b. Term limits (2) for any elected office in the government. End the career politician, or at least make it much more difficult for them to stay in office for life. After two terms your only real reason to remain in office it to line your pockets! You are bought and paid for by special interests. The needs of the people are secondary to your special interests groups.

c. End the congressional retirement system, and fix social security. Congress needs to be more attentive to the social security system, and not ripping the trust fund off. Social Security must go to a separate corporation that congress cannot touch or influence. In many South American countries people retire in relative comfort. But our complicit news media does not talk about that.

We the people must make a difference! It is now or never.

I feel encouraged to see so many folks out there feel as we do. It’s so hard to believe how our Nation has declined in the last 6 years. We shall overcome.

I have been taking a “Life-Long Learning” 6-week class at our local community
college, supposedly about not believing everything we read or hear in
newspapers or on TV news programs. The attendees are educated
and mostly senior people. At first I thought, “All right! A call for critical
thinking that involves both side of issues” Subsequently, I have not heard
one word nor seen one video clip that criticizes a liberal or Democrat,
president or otherwise. However, there has been a lot of criticism and
negative information given about Republicans and conservatives, particularly
past presidents. There has even been some sarcasm and “poking fun” at them.
I quit going to the class because it was so upsetting to me. I thought
educated, senior adults would be more open and reasonable. WRONG!
And that scares me.

Hello, Sharon A. I think that you probably got a lot more education than you had barganed for. Now you have a better understanding as to why schools should be independant of government, and how the youth have been led so far down a dead-end road.
Even though I do not believe any school nor organization for that matter are totally free of error, Hillsdale College in Michigan have some good on-line courses, esp. on the Constitution. The Libertarian Cato Institute have some position papers that are worthy, though Cato can be expensive to deal with and do have some egregious errors in selection of positions. The Heritage Foundation also is basically a good source, though not perfect.
If you haven’t bought into the slams from both “liberal” and “conservative” critics (like William F. Buckley) toward the John Birtch Society, they have some great documents and educational materials. You can preview much by navigating from jbs.org and searching around until you learn their complicated web site. You also use their “act now” operation to contact Senators and Reps, as well as your State Officers about issues you might be concerned about. JBS also has a Project Education that even supports home schooling as well. They do it all without much hassel except getting used to navigating through all the options and issues. Good luck in your attempt to better yourself and in the process, bettering our nation. See the newamerican.com for additional materials.

Many were convinced years ago that the jbs was a useless collection of paranoiacs. The very same convincers have succeeded in equating the idea of international communism with the idea of the existence of werewolves. What an excellent strategy; convince the boob tubers that communism either was never a threat, or went extinct with the fall of the Soviet Union, all the while building communism under soothing headings. Amazing what can be done to the human mind with control of the media.

Thanks, D.A., I needed that. Did you also know that the jbs subscribes to belief in God given rights? That might turn off some of the bitter non-religious among us.
Their motto: “Less government, more responsibility, and–with God’s help–a better world.”
Contrast that “More government, less responsibility, and–with Obama’s help–a bitter world.”
I ask you (and all critically thinking Americans) which motto would you subscribe to?
You could also choose any or all of the following to replace “Obama’s help:”
progressives, communists, liberals, totalitarians, oligarths, polygarths, pollit bureaues, central committees, central planners, bleeding hearts, welfare states, business cronies, selective winners,
green energys, any left leaning or RINO/Neo-con politicians, and on and on adfinitum, and especially don’t forget idiots like crazy Joe who is only Biden his time till retirement. No one could possibly be willing to offer him a job. Only our fearles///scratce our whinning leader could be that stupid. Or maybe it was smart. That might be the reason the House fails to initiate an impeachment inquiry. Oh, and Shumer, piglosy, Babs Boxer (punch drunk a-ready), and the late but not so great Teddy boy Kennedy, and all the bushes that spring up on the landscape, past and present.
Now how is that for Ranting?

Note: I wrote this and then read Diana Erbio’s post. So I agree with Diana.
If America [United States, not Canada or Mexico] is a new empire for evil, then why are there so many willing to enter our borders illegally? Wouldn’t this be the last place they would want to come to if we are so terrible?

Back during Solomon’s reign over Israel he built a place of worship for the LORD. When it was finished the LORD appeared to Solomon by night and told him that he had accepted this place of worship and said, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 America has been called a Christian nation, founded on the principles of the Word of God, so can we not take this advice from the mouth of the LORD Himself and apply it to our own lives and that of our beloved nation? We do not have the wisdom or the power to effect that which God alone can. He alone is all wise and all powerful. Let’s turn to Him and work together to make our nation again “the land of the free and the home of the brave.”

Hello, I want to express my overall disgust with the Obama administration. Our country was and is a great country, we need no political liberal to apologize for us to anyone. Michelle Obama should be on her knees thanking God for all she has, not condemning Him. We need to boot th out of office along with their czarist friends and appointees. Their liberal/ socialist agenda is beyond the pale; one, Obama care should be repealed, two, marriage act restored, gay activists need to be defanged, the rhetoric that they spew forth is poisonous to our children and setting the stage for the decline of our country’s moral fiber. Despite their claims homosexuality is not the norm for humans, despite their claims to the contrary it is clearly forbidden by God in the Bible. Three; we need to elect and engage in seeking candidates that support our constitution as written it is a very relevant and timely document to this day. We also need te limits, limits on PAC’s and their ability to influence our elected representatives, need to abolish/limit monies donated to candidates and make the fundraising events for all including sitting presidents limited in time frames prior to an election. Limit campaigning time and stop all campaigns six weeks prior to an election. Limit PAC’s ability to influence and bribe officials and disrupt elections and ballots. Disallow/ mandate unions to be barred from trying to push their agendas at polls they should be barred from all polls/other than to vote. Socialism/Fascism are a blight on our culture and do not work, capitalism is the best system, yes, it is founded on greed but managed correctly it is supposed to be a good greed in that it employs people, provides jobs , growth , prosperity for all even the poorest are better off, many people have pulled themselves above the poverty level with this system; welfare systems encourages dependenc on the goverent: not independence after all that is what our for fathers fought for independence from England , freed to worship, free speech, freedom to live and work and pay reasonable taxes for needed infrastructure. Not to support politicians fancies and whims for trips to all over the world for so called fact finding jaunts. Corporate America could teach our congress a thing or two about managing money/ being frugal! Lastly limit lawyers running for office lets have more business degrees, doctors, farmers, nurses, engineers, money managers, term limits and get rid of people
Like George Soros who bankrolls Obama and is his advisor on Saul Olinskies plans to destroy our country. Amen Kathy gosling

I know the Congress works for US – but, doesn’t the President also? If “we the people” (not ME) elected him, then he is an appointee of the people – the American public, and is supposed TO DO OUR BIDDING, AND WHAT’S BEST FOR US. Not him, not Michelle – but the American People and the United States. He hasn’t done SQUAT. He’s raised lots of money at fund raisers,(for whom, by the way??) played a lot of golf, gone on some “platinum” vacations, done an apology tour that is about to do us in; has not worked with Congress in a favorable way in 5 1/2 years — so as our employee — CAN WE FIRE HIM???? He has a term – but does it equal a Contract? If so, he is in breach of contract and it’s null and void. I seriously don’t see how this country will survive another 2 years of Barack HUSSEIN Obama – and neither does Dinesh D’Souza, according to things he said on the Herman Cain show yesterday. He is in great fear for the future of the U.S. – and as a legal immigrant, he said many thousands other immigrants are as well. The U.S. is becoming like the countries they all fled from! He said Obama schmoozes and speechifies, but beneath the surface a malevolence lies festering. Congress won’t do anything – so it’s up to we the people. And, the majority of the people who revolt will be over 50 years old – guaranteed!

The problem is to overcome what has happened in the past 50 or so years. We have at least two generations of young people who have been brought up to expect what ever they want, who feel entitled, and who do not have any idea of how the country works. We as a nation have become too lazy and complacent. We don’t want to take any action necessary to accomplish what needs to be done to set our government straight. Some who are willing to complain are not willing to take action because it is inconvenient, and we won’t be inconvenienced. Illegal aliens are overrunning the country, schools are not teaching the truth to our children, and we have a Muslim “president” who claims to be a Christian, who was married in a “God damn America” church that he was in for 20 years, and only left because he could not win the election had he not. His election was shocking, but his reelection was proof of the lack of attention on the part of the voters. I am 82 years old and hate the way our standards have been lowered to accomodate a generation of people who do not want to take responsibility for their actions. I truly believe that it is not too late, if enough people will rise to the task of voting for our Constitutional Rights and speaking out to let the government know that WE, The People are the government, that they work for us, they are not our Rulers, that we can still return this country to the free Republic that it was. I pray that will happen, and that I live long enough to see it.

I totally agree with you and well said!

I’m 80 years old and have lived thru the transition to a socialistic country where many people believe that the government should take care of their every need! Many don’t take responsibility for their own actions!

My biggest fear is the cost to this country of this mind set as reflected in our massive deficit. There is a tipping point out there! I probably won’t live to see, but when it happens it will be a disaster for this country, and I fear for my grandchildren!

Let me just say, I received the attached E-mail from a dear friend a couple of days ago.
Very appropriate to this movie.

LAUS DEO

*One detail that is never mentioned is that in
Washington , D.C. There can never be a building of
greater height than the Washington Monument*.
*With all the uproar about removing the ten
commandments, etc., this is worth a moment or two of
your time. I was not aware of this amazing
historical information.

On the aluminum cap, atop the Washington Monument in
Washington , D.C. , are displayed two words:*

*//**/Laus Deo/**/./**

No one can see these words. In fact, most visitors to
the monument are totally unaware they are even there and
for that matter, probably couldn’t care less.***
*
Once you know/Laus Deo’s/ history , you will want to
share this with everyone you know. These words have
been there for many years; they are 555 feet, 5.125
inches high, perched atop the monument, facing skyward
to the Father of our nation, overlooking the 69 square
miles which comprise the District of Columbia, capital
of the United States of America. /

This country is capable of so much good and our potential reaches to the stars…………No more of this unbelievable sadness over what is happening to our great country….. it IS our country and I will not let it be usurped by those in power……..we will take it back and know this……… we are truly living in epic times…..but we CAN do this !!! The great sadness of collective stupidity and inattention still exists, but we will overcome that.

I am not an eminent historian, just a non- college degree educated ex-Navy, WWII veteran. I don’t think it takes a “rocket scientist” to see from day one that that this president is only interested in one thing–bringing the United States down to the level of his home country. Unfortunately, he has been supported by a do-nothing congress and surrounded by a group of Chicago-bred politicians who are most adept at getting out the vote with smooth talking and back room deals so he may come very close to reaching his goal.

Cleaning house, so to speak, is not as easy as one would have to be. There is far too much ignorance of our system and ignorance of simple subjects that once were taught in all schools, public and private. Subjects such as civics, history, geography and basic math skills. Skills as basic as balancing a check book! The overwhelming populace that is ignorant of political situations, such as recognizing photographs of those in our offices and what the purpose of that office is is mind boggling. This pervasive ignorance is not limited to those impregnated with metal additions all over the body, nor festooned with tattoos to unimagined proportions. It permeates the recent college graduate population as well. Makes Mom and Dad wonder what they spent their money on!
This came about because three generations ago, the off-spring wanted to raise their children in a more humane atmosphere that they were raised in. Never mind the level of intelligence that we reached. They didn’t realize that a certain level of judicious discipline was beneficial to all concerned. True, some crossed the line into areas of abuse, but I think that was limited, or at least I hope it was.
We all hear that “Freedom Is Not Free!”, it isn’t and we have to be prepared to have the proverbial backbone to pay for it. This generation is ready with their hands outstretched waiting for their share that they have been conditioned to expect.
The turnaround is not going to be instantaneous, so be prepared for a lot of resistance.

I note the responses up to this point. Where are the men? For the past 60+ years apparently we have been consumed by setting our sights on the “American Dream” (material wealth) and allowed our elected politicians to take advantage of our system for their political gain, power, security and wealth. Using the “peoples” treasure by averting the Constitution. We the People, are the Rightful Masters of both Congress & the Courts, not to Overthrow the Constitution, but to Overthrow those who pervert the Constitution. Is it necessary to remind us that this Country was founded on the principles of freedom, Love, loyalty, Honesty, and integrity? That for which many have sacrificed their life, and that for which the people today intend to destroy by becoming salves to our “present” Government by their vote. I am 79 and have experienced the decline of America and it saddens my heart. NOW IS THE TIME TO “DRAW THE LINE IN THE SAND”!

Obama’s mission was to destroy our country, and piece by piece he’s doing it because of the voters who enjoy their ‘gimme, gimme’ way of life!! This has to stop – NOW!
