I got 8 out 0f 10. The ones I got wrong, the correct answer was my other possible choice.

I missed 3, but you have to admit Ed Muskie is rather forgettable. I remember the Gary Powers incident so well I picked 1964, thinking I must have been older; turns out I was only 9! And last but not least, I was never into James Bond. I picked 1964.

Probably everyone did that wasn’t old enough to vote.

Got 9 right the first time. Calling it a “baby boomer”quiz might have mislead some. The baby boom lasted until 1962, so some respondents were probably extremely young in the 60’s.

Yay–finally did better on your quiz 8-10. At least I dont have a memory lapse like I thought. Of course the fall of Saigon was still familiar to me since I left the paradise of RVN in August of 69

Couldn’t remember the U-2 shoot down date. I was 13. Still, 9 out of 10 isn’t bad for and old geezer! lol

8 out of 10. Missed first man to orbit the earth, I knew the answer but I just stopped when I saw John Glenn. I got caught on that.

I only got 4 right, but I was born right at the end of the BB generation, in 1963.

So close but yet so far! LOL!
6 of 10 correct!
Missed Muskie, Everly bros, Bond movie release and when Saigon fell!
Why is it that I remember the minutia but not the meaningful stuff?

Only 4 out of 10, my dumb side is showing its face!

Only got 5 right. A lot of these are about the early 60’s and I was too young to really know what was going on… or care. Get into the late 60’s and 70’s and I might (might) remember something!?!

guessed at some still only got 7/10 … BTW that is a 59 Galaxy 500 … I owned one in black with chrome skirts and a chrome “Continental” wheel cover on back. A real ‘chick’ magnet! (you could say that back then)

When the Dr Who series celebrated 50 years in 2013 the story was that the Bond movies were also marking 50 years. So is this a case of being technically correct but missing the point? Was the RELEASE of the first Bond movie at the end of the year, 1962?
