Intel Committee Chairman Nunes: “Clear Link” From DNC/Clinton Campaign “to Russia”

clinton-dnc-russia-intelligence-nunesHouse Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.; shown) says that there is evidence of collusion with Russia during the 2016 election — but it’s not with the Trump campaign. He told Fox News there is a “clear link” between Democrats and Russia. Both recently revealed facts and history show that he is correct in his assertion.

While Democrats, the mainstream liberal media, and others have focused on unproven (and apparently unprovable) allegations that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the results of the 2016 election and guarantee a Trump presidency, Nunes says the real evidence points at “the Hillary Clinton campaign,” which “hired a law firm, who hire Fusion GPS, who hired a foreign agent, who then got information from the Russians on the other campaign.” Nunes said this is a “clear link to Russia.”

Nunes made his remarks Monday, the same day his committee voted unanimously to allow Democrats to release their memo rebutting the Republican memo showing FISA abuses in the Trump/Russia investigation. He said that Democrats have shown hypocrisy in their criticism of the Republican memo, adding, “It seems like the counterintelligence investigation should have been opened up against the Hillary campaign when they got ahold of the dossier. But that didn’t happen, either.”

Nunes’ claim that Christopher Steele “got information from the Russians” for his “dossier” is based on the so-called “second memo,” which is actually a heavily redacted copy of the criminal referral against Steele. That memo was released earlier this week by Senators Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and shows that Steele “gathered much of his information from Russian government sources inside Russia.”

Yeah, I’m just thinking, is anything getting done in the government? It’s just on and on, investigation after investigation. Actually not after, but on top of. I wonder, how many investigations on going on at any given time? I doubt any of us could say. We’re all pretty close to the same age here, give or take a few years. Can anyone recall the government being any more dysfunctional than it is now? It wasn’t always so hate filled, whether democrat or republican, they’re all full of -hit.
Now I know this is going to get me in trouble, but has anyone noticed how President Trump has treated the WH? Like I’ve said many times, sure I’d take a bullet for the man, but I’ve noticed he seems to disrespect the office by the people he has selected to work with. I mean, he’s selected some of the biggest losers. What’s up with omamarosa, why would he ever have had her in the WH. And the women beater? And flynn, and, and, and
Manafort, the list goes on…sessions?? Donald has treated the WH like an amusement park.
Yeah, i know, go Trump go. I’ve grown tired of his missteps. Sure I’ll support him, just wish he’d pick better people to surround himself.

Will the Republicans be as doggedly determined to pursue the truth as the Democrats have been to pursue the lie? They need to step up the timeline so that this ridiculously obvious scam is not the headline “news” going into the mid-terms. MSM: shame, shame for not covering what’s really going on here!

You are correct. Until justice takes place the Republicans must pursue. Mutiple special prosecutors must be put in place. Special prosecutor Mueller must be fired. He is just a distraction to the truth and justice.

Let me answer your questions honestly, if I may.

1) The majority of Republicans to date have shown that they are spineless wonders with one finger constantly in the air to gauge which way the political winds are blowing. The evidence has been readily available for months now. More new evidence comes forth every day. However, all we ever hear from the majority of Republicans is “We have to see where the investigation takes us. So we have to let everything play out.” That is Washington speak for “We know there is NO evidence of Trump collusion with the Russians. We all know this was simply a story put forth by the Democrats to explain Hillary’s loss. We also have more than evidence to prove that Hillary and the DNC actively colluded with the Russians and in Hillary’s case, she has broken several federal laws related to her activity with GPS / Steel and Russia. However, if we come right out and say it to the American people, the Democrats will accuse us, once again, of only playing politics and the media will rally around the Democrat talking points. So since we want to desperately be loved by the media and we get all this on air TV time because these Congressional committee hearings just drag on and on, we’re going to just continue with this farce.”

2) As for the media, FOX News included in many cases now that it is run by Murdock’s very progressive son, they view their job as supporting the Democrat Party. That has been the number one priority of the media for decades now. They are just far more obvious about it, as they were literally one election away in 2016 from achieving the goal of American Progressives (Socialists). A Hillary Presidency would have ushered in the few final pieces needed to permanently re-make our representative republic into a socialist democracy. Trump and the pushback by enough American voters upset that goal. So now the media has taken the gloves off. Any pretense of impartiality is gone. They are going to keep going after Trump with whatever they can dream up each and every day. They DO NOT care about the truth. They only care about shaping public opinion to drive the progressive agenda forward and ensuring they eliminate any and all obstructions, meaning Trump and the will of the American people that voted for him, standing in the way of their goal.

3) The media, as a whole, really does think they are going to part of the ruling class, instead of simply being the messengers conveying the dictates of the rulers. The happy, smiling face, if you will pushing the propaganda. Having had a chance to speak to a few folks in the media over the years, their sense of self-importance (being equal to the public figures and politicians they cover) is amazing. They honestly do believe that they are going to stand as equals in the new order. None of them want to hear that they are inter-changeable, disposable assets that can be replaced on a whim or by falling Q numbers (TV popularity numbers used in the media industry).

Thanks, PaulE, for your consistently astute observations. We can go only as far as Republican resolve and MSM chicanery take us; my fingers are permanently crossed wishing that the Freedom Caucus will not tire in their pursuit of disseminating the truth. When the ever-patient Republicans wait “to see where the investigation takes us”, I have to wonder if they mean, “Let’s wait for the swamp to drain itself.” …as if that’ll ever happen!

This is certainly NOT a surprise to me! … Common sense: if the American Communist Party had ENDORSED HILLARY AND OBAMA BOTH TIMES, why would anyone think the Russians wanted Trump elected??? … I’m just amazed no Republican has pointed this out yet!
