Joe Biden’s Left-Wing Start

left wingJoe Biden is off to the most left-wing start of any Democratic president in recent memory.

The dulcet tones of Biden’s inaugural address already seem an artifact of a bygone era. Republicans will hammer him for the rest of his presidency for failing to deliver on his unifying message, but the fact is that Biden is governing as he promised — further to the left of his own record, further to the left of Barack Obama, and further to the left of any Democrat who made his career prior to the ascendency of the cultural left.

It’s not new for Democrat presidents to want to tax, spend, and regulate, even if Biden seeks to do more of all three than his immediate predecessors did. Biden layers on top of this a cultural agenda that represents a new dimension of radicalism that would be alien and baffling to past Democrats, who may have wanted to extend the New Deal but never sought to transcend the gender binary.

Biden has proved willing, too, to go it alone via rapid-fire, unilateral executive actions.

If Lyndon Johnson gave us the Great Society, he came to office seeking to fulfill the legacy of his martyred predecessor, which included passing a tax cut. Once elected in his own right in 1964, Johnson embarked on a spate of federal activism that no subsequent Democrat has matched, although Johnson largely enacted his priorities the old-fashioned way, by passing bills through Congress, and operated in a much more culturally conservative country and party.

Jimmy Carter, who ran as a Southern moderate and stumbled out of the gate, doesn’t really rate.

Bill Clinton and Barack Obama were both ambitious, but they also cared about the budget deficit and allowed it to restrain their agenda in a way that the Biden Democrats now totally reject.

If Clinton pushed the envelope on health care (ultimately getting nowhere), the signature economic initiative of his early administration was a deficit-reduction measure. Obama passed a blowout spending stimulus bill in his first months, although the imperative not to allow it to exceed about $800 billion seems quaint in retrospect.

Biden is out of the box with a proposed $1.9 trillion relief bill that includes a $15-an-hour minimum wage that not too long ago was the pipe dream of his party’s socialist wing, as well as a massive bailout of states and localities. Biden campaigned on a $4 trillion tax increase that one sympathetic observer has said would be “one of the largest wealth transfers in American history.” Meanwhile, he’s filling positions beneath the cabinet level with progressives with a mandate to increase regulation across the board.

All of this is augmented by new progressive causes that were just beginning to get a foothold back in the Clinton and Obama years.

Isn’t there something that Congress can do to “override” those executive orders?

When it gets to that point, and the people storm the DC citadel, drag the Communists out into the street, and do a “Mussolini” on them, don’t tell me they had no clue.

Biden is the ultimate “Empty suit”. His senile dementia has reached the point where he can’t even read the notes written for him coherently…and when he goes OFF script…not reading the teleprompter, his handwritten notes or the words coming to him in his earbud…Katie bar the door! No telling WHAT will come out of his mouth. He’s not in charge…his radical left-wing handlers are. We have a man in the Presidency who is mentally incapable of doing the job. Once they use “Senile Ole Joe” to get their “cabinet” choices in…Harris (who is constitutionally ineligible for her current position, let alone as President) will “25th” him….He’s being treated like a child…from his “Office of the President-Elect” (No such office) to having to be told which way to leave the stage. IF there WERE NO law violations, illegal voting, tampered or inaccurate machines, etc. then the Dems are eviler, dumber, and hate our Republic and Constitution than anyone thought.

But make no mistake, his handlers, the folks behind the scenes, they sure as hell can read the tea leaves and they are using that empty suit to fulfill their vision of america, a communist state.

“You americans will never accept communism but we will spoon feed you bits of socialism a bit at a time and one fine morning you will wakeup in a communist nation”. Nikita Krushchev

They have been telling us who and what they are, what they will do and how they will do it and we have not been listening have we? The wolf is at the door and you and i have unlocked it didnt we? We did that through complacency and ignorance, misdirection and apathy. We all are apathetic and it is our downfall. We tried but we let our president down, we did not rally behind him, our worthless rinos and rats didnt back him up. We left him high and dry. Yet he fights on. Are we worth it? Are we up for the fight or are we sheeple? Only you know the answer to that. We rolled over and played dead when it was obvious that the election was a sham, notice how everyone just shrugged and said OH WELL.

The deep state is entrenched and intends to stay that way. Make no mistake about that!

All of this while ‘vetting’ our servicemembers to see if they are conservative. So much for any advancement in the military for a Christian conservative. Any conservative is now going to be (as Pelosi says) an enemy of the state – traitor. And of course once that label is on our young troops – their 2d amendment rights will be nil. America needs to wake up – resist or submit and cower.

Pelosi and the rest of the radical dems in our government are completely delusional, and so filled with hatred that someone like President Trump could be elected over their handpicked America hater. History will not be kind to the democrats as a whole, and those individuals are so driven by hate that their record of the last 5 years will have thinking people shaking their heads and holding those individuals and that Party in contempt for centuries to come.

You are forgetting that many historians are academicians, i.e., Leftist college professors. They are already trying to alter America’s history. Likely, they will write about this chapter the same way the decrepit MSM lies & distorts their fake news. Any correct and true account by legitimate historians will almost certainly be “cancelled.”

A 1998 movie, “Enemy of The State,” with Gene Hackman and Will Smith, was prescient regarding our present condition of govt. surveillance on the public. It also highlights govt. corruption & cover-up.
If you haven’t seen it, watch it.

Recently watched it for the 2nd time. It is more timely today than in 1998 for sure. Kinda like Orwell’s 1984. Thank goodness there is a younger generation that believed the same thing President Trump did – making America great again – and are willing to fight for it. Those of us too old to go to battle anymore surely are grateful to them.

A very well paid puppet, turn him over and see his “Made in China” tag…After he’s 25thed by Harris & the rest of the radical loons, I guess he’ll have to be impeached AFTER he leaves office, by the Republicans when they take over in two years in the House and Senate. IF the dems insist that a politician, even out of office can be impeached….then I guess we need to backtrack clear to Carter, and impeach all Dem presidents forward…and why stop there? ANY who violated their oath, participated in the coups attempted to remove Trump, etc. should be “impeached”. Republicans need to bring the unconstitutional rat race of the radical left to a screeching halt.

To think this is the best America had to offer out of of 328 million population as leader of the free world. God help us. A low self esteem individual driven driven by power and greed. 48 years in DC and still trying to get it right! DC one big club and we ain’t in it but yet our tax dollars fund the club so they can use the very tax monies we send to stay in power and increase their wealth at our expense as they pander to special interest groups.

Stan d. Upnow

A fellow member of the Tea Party used to file a federal tax return every year with only the following words written on it in black marker pen: “NO TAXES FOR TYRANNY”

If we All did that, the corrupt DC machine would grind to a halt at once. But alas, people are too self-absorbed to ever pull together(except those on the Left, it seems).

With Biden’s obvious deficiency in his mental faculties, what we are seeing is his communistic handlers guiding him in signing all these EOs, and pushing liberty killing legislation like H.1/S.1.
He is a vapid drooling tool, being used to push our nation down a long dark road of ruin. Comrade Kruschev was right back in the 1960s, telling us we would fall to communism by sliwly embracing it from within, not by outside action.

That IS left wing…..whether you call it Communism, Socialism, Nazism, Progressivism, the Fascist (Anti-fa), BLM, “liberal”….all left wing ideologies….all evil, all anti-democratic, anti-Republic, and anti Constitution. “Historic” labels have been co-opted by the radical left…and they’re all working together to create their “progressive dream” of an “all white utopian society” … with themselves in charge..( and for those who still insist that Nazis were right wing….they borrowed several ideas from early 20th century American “progressives”…including inviting Madison Grant to visit Das Reich on their dime. Grant was a progressive author who wrote on Eugenics, and passed away before he could take the “National Socialists German Workers Party” officials up on their offer. Go all the way back to Andrew Jackson…our “first” Democrat President. They have a long and “proud” history worth knowing to better understand them now.

In 4 years under the Biden Administration there won’t be an America anymore. The rights of the people will no longer exist. They had a president that was for the people but everyone hated him because he wasn’t one of them. And they still hate him to try and impeach him when he is a civilian when in all my years I have never heard it done before. So it is going to surely be a bumpy ride to mid-term elections and if the people don’t get people in there that are for the country then this country is lost.

I never relinquished my oath of enlistment. I retired from active duty after 20 years back in 2005. I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign or domestic. I may have retired but I never said I would stop defending our Constitution.

This is from the Washington Times, May 2020. Of course they were directing it at another president.
“Orders are not laws.
They should be challenged by the people. They should be held to constitutional muster. They should be challenged and debated and fought over because they threaten the very foundation of America’s free society.
America is not a kingdom but rather a system of limited government where rule of law, meaning, the Constitution, guides — not mob mentality, or worse, fear — and public servants are just that: beholden to the citizenry.”

Originally, “Executive Orders” was a means for a President to tell how he intended to EXECUTE laws passed by Congress.

Nothing will happen as their very own will circle the wagons. If you are part of the DC Club no justice, if not part of the club justice will be hard and swift! President Donald Trump was a danger to their club and disrupted their business plans! The Constitution is used as a door mat. It is only as good as those who support and defend it. Biden is really doing what he is told and appeasing the radical left. He is led, he cannot lead. Unity has two meanings, one for the campaign, which was to bring then nation together, “Soul of the Nation” regardless of political affiliation . I’m sure it brought him thousands of votes. The second meaning, unit and conformity are synonymous, here are my policies conform and belong. There will be no partison participation in he Biden Adminstration.

What’s really sad in my opinion is that every White person in America is being called names like white power, (racist), white privilege. I don’t know about the rest of you people but I worked hard all my life. I have worked with and for all sorts of different people, it didn’t matter what color or where they came from. I respected their beliefs and hoped they respected my beliefs. This started twelve years ago. Everything that the Obama administration was criticized for was racist. The race card was played threw out his eight years in office. The Democrats saw this and have been using this tactic ever since. All I want is for people to get along with one and the other. I saw what I thought was real progress among all people not looking at their color of skin or what faith they believed in, but what they were about. Then all of a sudden everything became about race and hate. As a ( person )of religion, I hate to see the death of our younger people, doesn’t matter what color they are. Black, Brown, White whatever nationality you might be. Yes if we can help stop the unnecessary deaths then we should, but the people in power need to look at how they are handling this growing problem. You can’t just defund the police and expect the problem to go away. Well, I have said enough for today. WE the People need to stick together. God help our Nation.

Very well put, my sentiments exactly, being constantly called racist is like being told you are worthless will cause you to feel worthless. So maybe I am a racist. How does that promote unity?

Quite honestly, the race card has become everyday speech for those needing an excuse to accuse people. I am sick to death of it. White privilege? Well. the other colors have been given every opportunity to better themselves. Education along with affirmative action, housing, healthcare and so on. But with several exceptions, they are still screaming the race card! This has set a very bad example for those who are good, patriotic Americans. And last summer? The burning, destruction, looting, bodily harm in the name of BLM and Antifa presented a clear picture of incivility, anti USA, anti US Constitution. No one, and that includes myself, should ever apologize for their race of heritage.
