SOCIAL JUSTICE ?????

socialWritten By: J. Ronald Winter

What do the liberals, progressives, and demonstrators/rioters mean when they say they want SOCIAL JUSTICE? What does it mean to you? Diligently think about it. Ask several different people what it means to them. The phrase almost sounds angelic, even rather Christian.

Everyone that reads this has felt they have been treated unjustly at some time. There may even be some groups who feel that have had a raw deal. It could be an individual did not get the expected pay raise or promotion. Or a decision made by officials may seem to favor one person or group of persons over another. When you look at the fallen state of man you realize you can’t satisfy everyone. What alienates one person my satisfy another.

If everyone gets the same material things and/or the same treatment does that mean they all are justly treated? Will everyone be satisfied? By all means NO! We all are different and thus have different needs and wants. What is one man’s treasure means little or nothing to another. If everybody got the same amount of money, the same house, the same car, the same bed, etc would you call that social justice? In whose eyes would this be social justice? The only way this would work is if you have nothing but cloned robots that all have the same needs, wants, and aspirations.

When any person claims they want social justice you must ask relative to what? What are you going to compare your just treatment to? What is absolute true social justice? What is your standard? It is relative to a person’s experiences, his aspirations, his existing situation, and the environment in which he finds himself. If it is relative then it will be changing with time. If it is a man-made standard then it is not absolute. It will change based on the whims of man. Only God has an absolute standard of justice that does not change with time. Thus social justice is not realistic for a world of fallen people. All man can do is ask to be treated justly before His law. But thanks be to God that he also has mercy or none of us would survive His holy judgment.

By now it should be obvious that the term social justice is a man generated concept that is not realistic and can never be achieved by man’s endeavors. It is simply a phrase that is used to create unrest and dissension by those who promote communism. It manifests its tentacles in greed which is perhaps man’s biggest problem. Without greed, man would not seek after such a concept. Social Justice were the bywords used by Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Stalin to force communism on the people of Russia. They used it as a means of psychological deception; i.e., brainwashing. As people of the United States, we are now suffering from the same indoctrination and the associated unrest and unrealistic demands. It is the reasoning of a mad man to support something or a philosophy that cannot be adequately defined. To support and/or riot over something you cannot truly define is the folly of a fool.

It should be noted that the developers of the philosophy of communism, Marx, and Engels, stated there is no God. What that infers is that they refuse to accept accountability for their actions.

The Bible clearly states that only a fool says there is no God. Thus the philosophy of communism (ideology) is the human rationalization of two fools. Today the progressives and certain other liberal persons or groups try to embellish this foolish ideology to make it more appealing especially to the young. Thus they expand the process of foolish rationalization.

Great article Mr Winter!
This is the kind of writing that should be getting broadcast and spread on social media and all people should be free to read in order to decide for themselfs what they beleave and what they think, but unfortanately we no longer live in a country that has fredom of speach and personal freedom so this will never be seen by most of the people that need to see it the most. I thank you for trying anyway, after all that is all we can do is try.

As I have come to expect, AMAC is right on the money with their latest missive. Marx and Engels were godless people, and so is the DNC!

Well said. We’re seeing the inevitable result of a nation that has in large part turned its back on God.

This should have been taught in every elementary school for the past fifty or more years. Now we have lost generations to this institutionalized selfishness. Who will teach future generations?

I walked out of the Catholic Church over 2 years ago when the priest was preaching about social justice……haven’t gone back…..they have totally been infiltrated by Marxist ideology

Leftists, NOT Liberals. If AMAC does not understand the difference, why bother with you???

I don’t know why some writers at AMAC insist on claiming moral superiority over those who hold different religious beliefs. Where does that leave those of us who are not religious? Am I a lesser human being than you? Am I not capable of discerning right from wrong? Just from unjust?

Do I not deserve the same protections under the First Amendment to the Constitution? Of course I do, as an American citizen.

I am annoyed with you, Mr. Winter. You said, “The Bible clearly states that only a fool says there is no God.” I respect the right of any individual to decide for himself or herself which is the right path to follow. I followed the path that made sense to me. That doesn’t make me a moral reprobate. And for you to imply that in your article is offensive to tens of millions of law-abiding Americans.

It was supposed to be about social justice, and, instead it sounds like a sermon. You’re right.

The problem Kim is that too many authors on this site and others think “conservative” only refers to religious conservatism. Constitutional and fiscal conservatism seem to only matter in the context of justifying a certain religious belief or point and then only if that religion is of their personal religious denomination. They somehow think that one cannot have morals and understand right from wrong without also belonging to their particular faith. That it is somehow impossible to believe in the values of the United States and our Constitution on which it was founded, if you don’t also belong to a certain religious denomination.

Everything seems to be viewed through the lens of a religious view, which explains why this particular author’s piece so misunderstood the foundations of the communist ideology he was writing about. Karl Marx, who envisioned himself someone who was meant to live in a much higher station in life, was quite explicit in his views that the evolution of mankind away from a privileged aristocracy of absolute power in all things towards societies where individuals controlled more of their own lives was why he wasn’t able to enjoy the lifestyle he felt entitled to. His solution, communism, was in essence a stripping away of all individual property, rights and freedoms and returning total control of everything to the power of the state. In this way, he was essentially calling for the empowerment of the state to become the world monarchy of old that he admired and felt he should be a member of so much.

Yes, Absolute Power for the Marxists, and Zero Power for everyone else, since no one else matters.
Judging by some of the comments, there’s a great deal that’s being misunderstood!

You have a free will. God loves us all, saved or unsaved. The difference is that this life is a trial run because you will live forever ( what I call eternity future). Decide on this side of life to accept Christ as savior or the invitation door will close. Once it closes, there will be no more chances. YOUR CHOICE!!!!! Please do not be insulted or annoyed with the writer of this message. Jesus became sin in our place until he said it is finished! Take the gift. You will never regret it.

I appreciate your kind thoughts, Mary. As one who has lived in the natural sciences all my life, I cannot, in my heart and in my head, accept the possibility of an afterlife. Because of all those questions I asked early on, I had to choose the path that felt right for me. So, I have only one shot to get it right, and that’s why I behave as I do. Be well!

“That dosen’t make me a moral reprobate”. Where do you get yer morality? Do you dig it out of yer pocket? The Cannaites burned fresh born babies alive and considered it extremely moral? The Constitution guarantees freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion; that liberal distortion will eventually be corrected.

I have never asked anyone to give up his or her own religious beliefs. I respect the right, guaranteed in the Constitution, for individuals to live according to their own beliefs, without intrusion from government or from other individuals. Should I not be given that same consideration? (Of course, I should!)

I’m well aware of the fact the the Constitution does not state that America stands for freedom from religion. (And did you know that the Constitution also protects non-believers?) I abhor the actions of those groups that try to erase religion, and I have no objection to having creches in the town square at Christmastime. In fact, I, one of two atheists in the family, took the creche that had been in our family for 3 generations…out of respect for tradition. (Others were about to throw it in the trash.) The rest are born-again Christians, but the only way you’d know that is because the bumper stickers on their cars say so.

“Where do you get yer morality?” you asked. Do I need to read it somewhere or to be preached to on Sunday mornings in order to know that I shouldn’t steal from my neighbor? Or hurt other human beings or animals? Or to be charitable? I’m not going to list all the “good” things I’ve done in my lifetime, because….well, just because.

Law-abiding citizens have a pretty good grasp of what is expected of them in order to maintain social harmony. Anyone who has lived in civil society knows right from wrong. I don’t need religion to tell me that. Do you believe in the Golden Rule? Would you like me to “do unto you” as others have “done unto me?” I didn’t think so. And, by the way, I wouldn’t do it anyway.

Thanks, old ranger, for giving me this rare opportunity to speak up. Any questions?

We have no one to blame but ourselves. We surrendered our schools and Universities some two decades ago. Now the children of those institutions are growing up with the most twisted view of our country that the Fascists, Marxists, left leaning liberals can muster.
Return education to the states, remove 1619 curriculum, and put back ACCURATE American History, and a solid course on the Constitution.

Thank you J. Ronald Winter for a refreshing take on the idea of “Social Justice.” I think the first time I heard that term it came out of the mouth of Barack Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, part-time Marxist from Hawaii. The more I thought about it, the less I could see how it would fit with our Founder’s beliefs in the primacy of the individual. Social justice refers to groups, the collective. Our Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land, is set up to deal with individuals, all equal with rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. So the concept should be individual justice, not group justice or social justice.

You may say whatever you want about me (many have!) but I do not mind Trump being a fascist. Fascism is the opposite of communism. If that’s what we need in this country, call me a proud fascist! If it’s the opposite of Marx and Engels, the opposite of “ANTIFA,” then I’m on board!

Fascism is Statism. The idea that an all powerful state is necessary and good. That coercion and intimidation are appropriate. That the collective rules over the individual. So Communism, the Democratic Party and Antifa are essentially Fascist, and Trump is the opposite.

Didn’t Trump use coercion and intimidation in Portland, Lafayette Square, and the other places where he needed to stick it to the demoCRAP protesters? Like a good leader should! I’d like to see Barak Hussain Obama show that kind of leadership instead of doing podcasts!

And now he is saying that he should be able to change the election date — which I also believe he has the power to do; I don’t care what the fake news lame stream media says. Trump IS the state!

President Trump is NOT fascist. Not at all! He may be a Populist and he isn’t an ideologue and he really isn’t a Conservative, but he is trying his best to fulfill the promises he made on the campaign trail back in 2016.

I wanted Ted Cruz back then and voted for Trump because I would be horrified to live in a Killery America. This time around, I’m happy to vote for Trump again!

In the ideology of communism, the government is effectively God per the writings or Marx and Engels. An all powerful, all consuming force that mandates total capitulation of individual wants, needs and aspirations of humanity to the capricious dictates of the state. Communists oppose ALL religions, because they are an opposing ideology that potentially threatens their hold on absolute power and control. Which in the ideology of communism can never be tolerated or allowed to exist. Thus the ruthless punishment of anyone who chooses to practice any religion. Whether it be the reference to Russia, China or any of the other country embracing a socialist / communist path, religion of any sort is viewed as direct competition to the power and control of the state. It is NOT, as the author implies, a rebuke of personal responsibility, but rather a desire by those that embrace the communist ideology to have total, unfettered power over others. By the way, any ideology that teaches the existence of personal rights, freedoms, choice and individual thought by the individual are also NOT tolerated by communism. It isn’t just religion that communism has NO tolerance for. Anything that challenges the idea of an all powerful government is viewed as a threat to be eliminated.

And we (the US) are almost there. How unthinkable, and how sad we’ve been the frogs in the pot of ever-increasing heat for so long. Is it too late to jump out of the pot and fight back? There needs to be more ‘generations’ of rational thinkers than us seniors (am 78) – especially since a lot of ‘us’ seniors are liberal Dems trending toward socialism.

For a number of years with each of these eye-opening situations, I look back at the SCOTUS decision to remove prayer from public schools as the 1st and loudest toll of that bell of doom. So today is what happens when God is removed from the public square – rather like the “out of sight, out of mind” situation.

Communism is evil, plain and simple! … To deny the existence of God is to deny the existence of mankind. To deny the existence of mankind is to deny the existence of sin! To deny the existence of sin is to deny the existence of reality. Thus Communism is an example of sin of mankind and that is in evidence every day! … Just look at and listen to today’s so-called Democratic Party and it’s leaders! … Evil, pure and simple!
